FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS?

We require a 50% down payment on production runs. The remainder of the balance is due before we ship your product. After shipping, you will be sent an itemized invoice. Our preferred methods of payment include: ACH Transaction, Wire Transfer, or Cashier’s Check. We do offer terms pending your company’s credit review (please contact us for details).

WHAT IS THE TIME FRAME FOR PRODUCTION TURNAROUND?

On average you will want to plan for 2-3 weeks on the production proofing process. Then allow 6-8 weeks for production lead times during our off-season, pending material availability. Peak season (typically September through early December) may require longer lead times.

WHAT ARE YOUR MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITIES (MOQ)?

2,000 units for both card games and board games.

DO YOU PRODUCE PROTOTYPES OR PLAY-TESTING MATERIALS?

We can produce prototype games and materials, but we may refer you to a reputable alternative option that handles smaller game production runs.

WHAT ARE POINT (PT) AND GRAMS/SQ METER (GSM)?

One point, imperial measurement, equals .001 inches or card thickness. Delano references paper stock by Point measurements. GSM, a metric measurement, represents the area density of card stock, not necessarily thickness.

Batch identification is required for any product intended for ages under 18. We add a 9 alpha-numeric identifier on the bottom of the box or near the barcode with every product we produce in this manner.

WHAT DO YOU OFFER IN THE WAY OF UNIT PACKAGING?

Default for 2 piece boxes is 6 games to a 32 ECT RSC style custom sized corrugate carton. Tuck box games are bulk packed with standard cartons by default. Special packaging will be handled on case by case basis.

Domestically: By law, laboratory testing needs be done by a 3rd party. Lead and Phthalate tests are required for ages 12 and under. ASTM Soluble Heavy Metals are required for ages under 6. Europe requires chemical testing to adhere to EN-71 Part 3 requirements for children under 14.

Materials & Safety Information

Delano Games produces safe games. Your game is compliant with the United States safety laws (Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)), including the Consumer Products Safety Information Act (CPSIA) passed in 2008.

When you print your game with Delano Games, the papers, plastics, shrink-wrap, and all other components are certified and tested. Test results are available upon request.

Since your game is made in the United States on U.S. or Canadian paper and (in most cases) using U.S.-manufactured plastic parts, you can rest assured that it will be safe and legally saleable.

Our tradition of making safe products has met or exceeded safety laws throughout our long history. (Note: Some customer-supplied or 3rd party products may not be certifiable for various reasons. Please check with us if you have any questions.) Contact Us
